Deep Tissue Massage,  Holistic Massage,  Indian Head Massage

Massage to Enhance Your Health!

Deep tissue massage is a technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body, working deeply in problem areas with the emphasis on altering structure and muscle restriction. However, deep tissue massage does not mean a “hard massage” and does not have to be painful.

Holistic massage looks at the whole person, taking into account physical symptoms, as well as environment and lifestyle and the effect that these can have on our life. Swedish massage, deep tissue technique, soft tissue release, gentle stretches and acupressure techniques are incorporated in the treatment depending on your own circumstances and preferences.

Indian head massage takes place seated and through clothes. It includes massage of the upper back, shoulders, neck, head and face, the overall effect bringing calm, tranquility, focus, better concentration, relaxation and the release of stagnant energy.

WHAT IT IS BEST FOR:

  • Deep tissue massage aims to realease chronic patterns of tension in the body, thus works to improve posture;  restore and increase flexibility and motion in muscles and joints; eliminate muscular aches and pain and help with rehabilitation after injury.
  • Holistic massage considers all the above but the emphasis here is on relaxation; stress, anxiety, low energy related issues.
  • Indian Head Massage can bring the greatest relief to a multitude of problems including migraine, sinusitis, insomnia, stress, sluggish hair, anxiety, tension in neck and shoulders.
