Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue Massage & Reflexology

Life is nothing without good health enjoy it!

Therapeutic Aromatherapy Massage uses essential oils applied to the skin and utilises a combination of acupressure and various massage techniques: meridian massage, shiatsu and deep tissue massage to balance the Ki (life force energy) and restore health.

Reflexology is an ancient healing art that uses a finger pressure to access the whole body through the feet or hands. Reflexology helps  unblock areas of congestion to restore balance to body and mind.  Specific points and meridians on the feet are also stimulated to encourage the natural flow of Ki in the body.

Indian head massage is a therapy which both originated and developed in India more than four thousand years ago. It is based on Ayurvedic techniques (the ancient form of Indian medicine) and is a deep massage, which uses a variety of pressure and techniques that tap into your seven “‘chakras” or paths of energy and encourage healing and balance in your whole body.

Cranio sacral therapy is a subtle and profound healing form. By using light-touch contact, the therapist identifies tensions and restrictions within the body resulting from physical or emotional stress. Cranio sacral therapy promotes your body’s own healing  ability to release these tensions.

  • Ease emotional & physical tensions
  • Encourage the body’s self-healing process
  • Harmonise your body, mind & spirit
  • Promote free flow of Ki, the vital energy
  • Release stress
  • Restore & optimise your well-being

Being born and raised in Japan, Mayumi has grown up with an understanding of traditional Eastern therapies as a way of life.  Mayumi’s interest and never ending passion for bodywork began at a very young age when seeing her grandmother receive acupuncture and shiatsu every week. From her background and her various training courses Mayumi combines Eastern and Western therapies. She truly believes the energy (Ki) within our body drives our life. By freeing the energy flow, our self healing power will arise. Working along the deep tissue, Mayumi uses her hands to listen and communicate with the body. She has been practising since 1998 and is a professional member of Complementary Therapist Association
